We are currently offering depiction in full 3 magnum presentation box sets of our 2017 vintage, as well as 750mL bottles - ie standard sized wine bottles. Our 2017 magnums are packaged with original artwork segment labels in a presentation box of 3, a print of original artwork, a canvas grid showing the original location of your three labels, and a folio. Our 2017 production in standard size bottles has a “blank canvas” label, ie art on the interior of the bottle only, allowing you to sample the wine that will be offered in magnums next release. On our “blank canvas” label, the location an artist would traditionally sign the work instead carries the vintage date, mother nature’s signature. Our 2017 artwork is Belgian photographer Antoine Rose’s image entitled “Holy Day”, also created in 2017, which we printed on 36” x 48” canvas. The artist was harnessed to a helicopter and took the photo over a beach in Southern Tuscany on the Italian Riviera. The original work is a colorful abstraction of the seaside scene, while the individual magnum label segments feature interesting details which remain largely unnoticed in the original. 2017 Vintage Note
High toned pomegranate, stone fruit pit, crushed violet, bay laurel, and pie crust aromas. Juicy cut to the entry, gorgeous equilibrium of fruit, acid and tannin in the mouth. Medium weight, restrained, pure and pretty. Persistent clean finish of cassis bud, marzipan, with a light milk chocolate undertone. This is an absolutely gorgeous representation of the vineyard and will drink well from release for a minimum of 25 years.
