The 2014 depiction follows in the footsteps of the outstanding 2012 and 2013 vintages, showing the lithe tannin structure and impeccable balance that are hallmarks of the site. Built on a more svelte frame than the muscular 2013, the 2014 deftly articulates the vintage and the vineyard, contributing a new and charming dimension to our offerings.
Our artist partner for 2014 is Jisbar, a young Parisian street/pop artist rapidly gaining global fame. We commissioned a mixed media on canvas artwork, 150cm x 300cm, which he has entitled "Rhapsodie". Playing on the themes of love, art, money, and freedom, the vibrancy and energy are undeniable in the work, with the individual label segments virtually jumping off their bottles. We are so pleased with the results, and hope you appreciate them, too.

Characteristic red and black berry aromas give way to a clean entry, broad, medium weighted midpalate, leading to a pleasing lingering finish. Morello cherries, boysenberries, hot stone, and pie crust further detail the aromatics. The berry flavor range profile persists in the mouth, with milk chocolate, loam, graphite, and patisserie flavors exhibiting. The balance, juiciness, and fine grained tannin structure all indicate optimal enjoyment over the next 5 to 20 years.
